Performing Arts facilities at the school are excellent and include professionally equipped studios, as well as a full-size stage and auditorium. The school is equipped to the highest level throughout, with the latest educational digital equipment in place.
Each student has safe and secure access to their own email and learning area where tasks and relevant material can be found, enabling students to engage in a powerful, flexible, online learning experience. To ensure that students develop the robust digital skills required for modern day employment, the school operates a ‘Laptop Scheme’. This bespoke programme, designed and run in collaboration with a local IT provider, presents each parent with the opportunity to purchase a laptop for their child, at a cost-effective, reduced rate. Students are encouraged to use digital technology to complete work in the classroom and the Laptop Scheme facilitates this area of learning.
Facility Hire
We have a variety of sports and recreation facilities available for hire at Shrewsbury Academy. Most facilities are available on Monday to Friday evening from 5.00pm – 8.00pm. Facilities are available at weekends too depending on demand.
We feel our prices are very competitive and we also offer public liability insurance.
