Award success at Shrewsbury Drapers Young Textiles Competition
On Wednesday night the Shrewsbury Drapers held an awards evening for the Young Textiles Competition. Some of our students entered and we came away with 2 awards which were presented by the Mayor of Shrewsbury!
Textile Teacher, Miss Kovacs said; “I felt very proud of our amazingly talented students and they were very inspired by the work presented.”
A huge congratulations to all students who entered:
Year 7s – Thaya Kelsey, Jessica William, Maya Adams and Megan Baldwin.
Year 10s – Evie Canham and Luke Wenlock.
Year 11s – Carys Binnion and Chenai Holloway.
A special shout-out also to our two award winners: Beth Steen and Hana Vnoucek, who are both in Year 7. Pictured is Beth Steen who won a Gold Award and a £50 voucher!
